الأردن
Jordan's coinage begins with the Emirate of Transjordan (1927–1946) under Emir Abdullah I and continues through the Hashemite Kingdom. Jordanian coins have always featured royal portraits — a continuous visual record of four monarchs: Abdullah I, Talal, Hussein, and Abdullah II. The Hussein era (1952–1999) produced the most extensive and historically rich series, including commemoratives for the 1967 war's aftermath and Jordanian cultural heritage. Modern issues reflect Jordan's role as a bridge between tradition and modernity.

Emirate-era Palestinian mandate fils (1927–1946) are historically unique. First Hashemite Kingdom issues (1949–1952) with the portrait of Abdullah I are key pieces. The complete Hussein-era fils and dinar sets are achievable and rewarding. Gold proof dinars from the Hussein and Abdullah II eras are investment-grade commemoratives.
